To help even more companies and entrepreneurs, PR Consult will be hosting a Public Relations 101 Workshop on February 16, 2019, to focus on the basics of Media Relations. The workshop will take place 10am-3pm in our conference room (#202, 10526 Jasper Ave).

 

The programme will be adapted to the needs of workshop attendees and cover the basics of Media Relations. The workshop will help businesses and brands understand why and how they can reach media. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the fundamentals needed for Media Relations. They will also understand:

  • The art of story-telling
  • How to write a news release
  • How to create a media list
  • Best practices on pitching a story
